Rental Contract Information
Rent with option to Purchase - Up to the
first 6 months of rental payments (plus deposit if applicable)
will be applied toward the purchase of the outfit (the instrument,
bow & case). None of the subsequent rental fees will be
applied to later purchase. To activate the purchase option,
the renter must notify Petr's Violin Shop after the initial
rental and a Purchase Contract will be opened at that time.
Maintenance - The renter agrees to pay for
upkeep of the outfit (broken strings, etc.) and to be responsible
for the cost of all repairs, damages and replacement costs
while the outfit is rented. Renter further agrees to bring
rented outfit to Petr's Violin Shop for all repairs and maintenance.
Billing - As a courtesy, Petr's Violin Shop
will mail a reminder to the mailing address listed on this
contract prior to rental expiration date. Petr's Violin Shop
is not responsible for timely services of the Us Post Office.
It is the renter's responsibility to inform Petr's Violin
Shop of any changes in information on this contract.
Past Due Accounts - Upon expiration of the
rental period, the renter agrees to return the outfit to Petr's
Violin Shop. If the outfit is not returned by the expiration
date, the rental will continue at the rate in effect with
any fraction of a month constituting a full month's rental.
In addition to said rental, renter agrees to pay the Late
Fee per day. If, for any reason the customer fails to settle
the account seven calendar days after the rent expires, Petr's
Violin Shop will charge the Balance of the Purchase Price
to the customer's credit card. If the Balance amount cannot
be charged the credit card, the renter agrees to pay all costs
of collection, including legal expenses and attorney fees.
Once the account has been sent to collections, the outfit
cannot be returned.
Returns - Any rental returns must occur
no later than 7 days after the Rent Due Date to Petr's Violin
Shop at 1408 Hyder Street Anchorage, AK. The customer agrees
to pay all money owed by cash, credit card, or by applying
part of the deposit. The deposit (if any) will be refunded
in full when the outfit is returned on time and in the same
condition as the customer received it, providing no money
is owed for previously incurred debt.
